Comprising three layers, this model allows us to identify activities required to fulfil the needs of each specific client, ensuring that the end solution has a robust and scalable foundation which addresses main business issues and attracts the expected usage across your organisation.

1. The Infrastructure Layer covers aspects related to server and basic software installation. Here we will consider installation and configuration of operating system, your web server and availability amongst other things.

2. The Solution Layer provides applications to meet your requirements, covering the definition of final configuration and development of any bespoke modules. At this stage, we will discuss any bespoke development or additional modules required as well as aspects such as customised look and feel.

3. Finally, the User Layer addresses the issue of how to help your organisation and employees get the most benefits from the Intranet, covering content structure, roll-out strategies and training.
